MUAY THAI - ALL LEVELS
5:45pm-7:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
10:30am-11:45am Saturday
A medium to high intensity Muay Thai workout for Adults focusing on combinations, footwork, techniques and Strategies, finishing off with basic timing drills and grappling.
Newcomers will not be paired up for the first 10 classes unless experienced.
Goal: Learn Thai Boxing footwork, stance, guard, fitness, technique (punches, kicks, knees, elbows, basic grappling and defences).
Level: All levels including beginners welcome.
Intensity: Medium to High.
Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes.
Equipment required: Towel, Closed fist Boxing gloves (10 oz. minimum), Hand wraps, Groin guard (compulsory for males only but female groin guards are recommended).
MUAY THAI - WEEKDAY CLASS
12:00pm-1:00pm Tuesday & Thursday
A medium to high intensity Muay Thai workout for Adults focusing on combinations, techniques and strategies in a non-contact situation. You will not be paired up. All training is done on the Muay Thai bags and other equipment. Perfect for the busy Professional or the Mum who needs to get their training done during the week. Come in and smash it out and get back on with your day. Fitness circuits, strength work and bag work can be included in our Muay Thai day classes.
Goal: Improve footwork, stance, guard, fitness, technique.
Level: All levels including beginners.
Intensity: Medium to High.
Duration: 1 hour.
Equipment required: Towel, Closed fist Boxing gloves (10 oz. minimum), Hand wraps.
MUAY THAI - SPARRING
5:00pm-7:00pm Friday night
Muay Thai sparring for Adults focusing on game plans, strategies, techniques and ring control. No aggressive behaviour will be tolerated. Pecking order is the most Advanced Fighters and students pair up and spar before Non-Fighters. General Students are to arrive early and wait to be called up to the ring.
Goal: To learn how put everything together that you have learnt during the week and test yourself!
Level: Advanced students by invite only.
Intensity: Medium.
Duration: 2 hours.
Equipment required: Towel, 16 ounce Boxing gloves, Hand wraps, Mouth guard, Shin pads, Groin guard (compulsory for males only but female groin guards are recommended), headgear and knee pads recommended.
TEAM 888 - FIGHT CAMP
4:00pm-5:45pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
888 Fighters only.
Goal: To prepare for competition!
Level: Competitor.
Intensity: Medium - High.
Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes.
Equipment required: Towel, 16 ounce Boxing gloves, 10 ounce lace up gloves, Hand wraps, Mouth guard, Shin pads, Groin guard (compulsory for males only but female groin guards are recommended), headgear and knee pads recommended.
